Cooking,
over the years, has changed from a female-oriented responsibility into a
passion and a part-time hobby. After all, eating the food made from your own hands
obviously has a different taste altogether.
And it’s
only natural if the first thing you do, when you want to try out a new dish, is
searching it up on YouTube. Or maybe you’re like us, too-lazy-to-live people,
who just wants to lay back on bed and drool over great Indian food made by
great people.
Either way,
we bring you the most celebrated Indian Cooking Channels on YouTube with
hundreds of recipes which will not only make you drool over them but might even
make you consider kidnapping these talented cooks who make them.

➤GRANDPA
KITCHEN :
Language
: English
Clad in his
trademark clothing, a dhoti and a white shirt, with a white handle-bar
moustache, this adorable grandpa might even make a cynic reconsider his beliefs.
When
Narayana Reddy, a farmer-turned-cook decided to put up his first cooking video
“King Of 2000 Eggs” back in 2017, nobody would have even guessed that this man
and his channel would turn out to be one of the biggest cooking channels in
India. With a whopping 7.28 million subscribers and 278 videos (as of
29.03.2020), he is nothing less than a superhero.
His videos
feature a simplistic and modest approach to cooking and you can very well
notice this because Reddy cooks both Indian and Western dishes (Yes, you heard it
right! From biryanis to lasagne, this grandpa has got it all covered) outdoors
in a wood-fired flame, without the use of any modern cooking equipment.
But there
are plenty of channels who might cook outdoors so, what’s the big deal right?
The amazing
thing about him and his channel is their mega-sized Indian and Western dishes
and how they distribute them to orphans at the end of the videos. These
donations of food, not only warmed viewers stomachs but also their hearts when they watch the children’s smiles at the end of the videos.
But we
weren’t lucky enough to cherish this superhero for long as he departed from this
world on 27 October 2019. But we are sure that he’s pretty busy, bringing warmth and
smiles in heaven.
His YouTube
channel and good work is continued by his family, who prior to his death were
handling his YouTube channel.
Check out his
channel below. We are sure that you will absolutely love his adorable English, his
huge recipes and his child-like smile.
Language
: English
The star of
this channel is a beautiful Punjabi granny who puts as much as love as she can
into each of the dishes’ she makes.
Not much is
known about this granny or their channel, except for their motto “We work for
your smile so keep smiling.”
This channel
has a following of 2.47 million subscribers and has over 205 videos giving out
all kind of recipes- from traditional Punjabi cuisine to ultra-modern
first-world recipes.
Like Grandpa Kitchen, Veg Village Food also makes their food in huge quantities and delivers it to little kids.
If not for
the food (which would be pretty weird), you will be hooked onto her smile
through the entire video and we can almost bet that you will end up mirroring
the smiles of the children who get a first-hand experience of granny’s love.
Check out
their channel to fall in love with this cute, little grandma and her whole-hearted
recipes.
