Life as an Army is beautiful. Yes, while that is true we must also admit it’s not easy keeping up with the boys. MVs, tours, photoshoots, Run BTS!, games….oof! BTS does try their best in driving ARMYs crazy.

Army is that kind of a fandom in which you don’t realize you are in too deep until you finish binge-watching the entire Run BTS! Episodes all over again only to realize that you have five hours to study for that test.

But the thing is, we know we are hooked onto it and we can admit it shamelessly *(Pied Piper plays in the background)*. We just can’t get enough of BTS! So, if anybody comes in preaching about how I need to take a break, I have my AK-47 loaded (just so you know).

Because I can’t take a break from them. But what I could do is use a little assistance in easing my burden of keeping up. We all could. Hence the inspiration for this list! This game took the definition of being an ARMY to a whole another level. As ARMYs when we play this game, we were able to connect to the human side of BTS.

Well, it kind of starts off with you being a super fan of BTS, the world’s most famous boyband and you are obviously excited and super lucky when you get a ticket to one of their concerts but things take a 360 degree turn when you suddenly find yourself back in 2013... in a world where BTS didn’t even exist. You suddenly find yourself swapped as a Bighit manager in charge of forming BTS and making them successful. 

To be absolutely frank, I didn’t play this game even after one year of its release because I thought I wouldn't find it interesting. But was I wrong? 

Definitely. There are two aspects to this game. One is the story line which includes short videos and texts and the other is the mission you need to complete to advance in the storyline. 

The missions are pretty easy but talking about the story line .... I would need to borrow another thousand words. We get an insight into how difficult it was to be BTS in a world where they weren’t recognised. The clashes, the drama, the pain, the sacrifice... you get a glimpse of everything and that’s what makes it so realistic. Seriously, my opinion is that you should give it a shot.

V Live is an app that allows K-Pop artists to broadcast live videos and chat with fans.

You can follow your favourite artists on this app and every time they upload new content or start a live stream you are notified. You can comment on live videos and there is a heart button feature which sends hearts to your idols during the live stream.

Now the main reason I use this is for …wait for it! *drumrolls* RUN BTS!

I absolutely love the show. Let’s just say if in an alternate universe I wouldn’t have been into BTS, I would still watch every episode of Run BTS! over and over again. I love everything about it. The tasks, the jokes, the living memes, the goofiness, the punishme- er… yeah, I need to stop. So, where was I?

Yeah, so as I was saying I use VLIVE for keeping a track on Run BTS! But that’s not all. You can also interact with them in the comments when they come live. It has subtitles, if you wanted to know. *cries in non-Korean*

There is also a ranking feature which indicates your rank depending on how much you view a particular channel's content. So basically, this is a feature that just screams how much you are crazy over BTS right in your face. Cool, right?

In the beginning of this post, I said that life after becoming an ARMY has been beautiful. It really is true. I have learnt some of my biggest life lessons from BTS. Like how it is okay to be lost once in a while. That it is normal and perfectly okay to be not sure of what I am doing at times and it is in no way a reason to underestimate myself or my capabilities. That I must hustle hard forward if I want to make things happen. And above all, that nobody can really love me unless I start truly loving and knowing myself.
